All of Grace Academy’s foreign language courses seek to provide a grammar-based approach to conversational language that will enable a pupil to become proficient in both comprehension and usage. We highly recommend (for many good reasons stated elsewhere) that Latin be the primary language taken by all pupils, regardless of the age they begin. Once a pupil has completed at least 3 years (preferably 5) in Latin, he or she is now fully prepared to readily master any of the romance languages, or continue on with Koine Greek, the language of the New Testament.
