The rhetoric level of a classical education offers the most unique and exciting opportunity for a series of classes designed to help the pupil achieve that clarity of thought and eloquence of expression necessary to successfully engage the world for the gospel.
The Omnibus curriculum from Veritas Press (www.veritaspress.com) provides for us a wonderful foundation in mature, biblical thinking for the more advanced pupil. Exactingly modified to fit within our four-year history cycle, it is offered at Grace Academy in the Rhetoric level to those who are aged 14 and up. This series of academically rigorous courses gives a balance of history, literature and theology, combined with the classical writing program to provide challenging and thoughtful training which will help the pupil learn to evaluate and defend the basic tenants of both Western civilization and of the Christian faith.
